The Joy of Life

What do you think would be the worst mistake you could ever make?

It's the one question i could answer each time differently...why? because life is scary...because, as humans, we make mistakes all the time and because we sometimes don't have the guts to take a chance and risk.

But that's what life is about:
change dreams happiness goals risks fears confusion achievement desire greatness love nature passions hobbies work enthusiasm

so why sit all day long thinking about the things you'd want to do instead of actually doing them?
time flies so fast you can't imagine...don't wake up in your 40's regretting having not done bungee jumping or taking dance lessons in your 20's. Go ahead and make the jump. It will feel something like this:

...on motivation

It's funny to see how hard it is in an NGO for a person to motivate others; it has nothing to do with money recognition, food tickets, vacation fees or anything of such kind...yet, there are some who manage to arise this spirit of team-work, desire to do something along with persons who have the same aspirations, to create, to implement, to design, to brainstorm...and to dream big.

A special person used to give me advice on how to motivate a team:

"I individualize them. Each person is a unique person who is motivated by something different. I try to find in them those things that motivate them and build up a 'scenery' for each one. Some need public recognition, others just need to be listened to, others need to feel their work appreciated.

Honestly, i think this way: people in AIESEC work hard because they believe in something, even though they don't have immediate results they surely make sacrifices for AIESEC. They may be at first demotivated for working hard yet seeing no soon results, but this doesn't mean i don't appreciate their involvement.

I would still encourage them and help them find solutions together to bring performance.

And in hard moments: the bear necessities and...Louie: Impossible is nothing!"

If before i asked myself why I do all these... I no longer have to..i found my answer...what about you?
