AIESEC XP so far...wow, already a year?! time flies so fast...

A little bit of sharing of my AIESEC experience so far...

- firstly....newie...a.k.a tiricar :P - nothing much happened, i was just like a birdy learning to fly..

- afterwards... InComing eXchange member on NGO team- Jo was my great Team Leader- she ihad a lot to do with who i am today, of my reason of staying in the organization & i could think pf no better person that could teach me so many things and have so much enthusiasm every day

- TRIX, at Suncuius - now this is another memorable conference...becoming an intermediate...oh, the joy... the achievement... the beeeeeer :P

- OC Communication for LPM, July 2008 at Racatau - one of the most amazing experiences one can face within a team- Deia, 10q for this amazing ride and kinky OC team- u guys rocked the house!!!

- OCP World Citizenship, autumn 2008
- 4 trainees, 6 high schools, press conference, Global Village, about 6 months in total...
- best experience of my life so far..with hard moments..,fluffy ones...joyful ones....and definitely an experience that made a whole lot more mature, more responsible, more confident that i am capable of doing a project
- great people beside me...Puckpuruck...the funny little adorely one...and not to forget Oana, my right hand, left leg, head and every kind of support you could think of :)

- other gerat conferences....NPS, WintCo, NC (good Lord now that was the most well organized conference i have ever attended so far! all bow before the OC and OCP- amazing is a humble word to describe it!)

- and lately...in winter...applied for Vice-President ICX Non-Corporate
- bumpy ride? i hope so!!! challenging? i very much hope so!!! an experience i will never forget? i know so!!! 9 more best friends? it's not a dream any more, it's becoming a fact!!!

- next to come? my dearly term...ICX NC members...PBOXes....25 ICXes...my goal? best experiences for the mbs, OC and of course, trainees!!!

1st conference is always the most memorable

As a new kid on the block...a little scared about |strange"things happening around her....clapping a lot, a weird shout, different sessions, trainings, not so very familiar kind of parties...all these in what turned out to be one of the greatest conferences i've ever attended: RTS2, in autumn 2008.

The chair: Adi Rusu (requires no further details, obviously- he's one of the Alumni i admire most for the charisma, knowledge and of course, for being so damn funny)...sessions: from team buildings to funny games, time and project management trainings, CSR and so on...besides, the most important delivery made: AIESEC knowledge- what this is NGO is about, what the 3SOME GN1 is about and ...what the future hold for the newies in AIESEC.

Most important thing: everything! i can't choose- all the memories, activities, the unbelivebly wonderful place (including the pool:P)- Poiana Zanelor, and of course, new friends, some turning out to be best friends even (hei Oana:D).

As a final line: being there was the best thing that could happen to me at that time :)

where it all began

Hello dearly beloved reader standing on the other side of the screen :)
Please feel not as a stranger but as a friend who is about to find out more about me

I'm Lou, a friendly person who enjoys nature, ice cream , laughing and, most of all, being surrounded by friends

You may be wondering (or not) what is the relevance of this message....it may not concern you....it may not involve you...it may not put a smile upon your face...but it sure means a great deal to me, as this was the beginning of a new Lou- a better Lou- a more mature Lou- a Lou with BFFs (allow me to actually use this word in order to emphasize the importance of the matter) whom i know for sure i will cherish for as long as i will remember 1+1

It's actually the middle of May '09, yet my journey began last year in April, on the 21st and how did i know about this bumpy ride? well, funny thing...i received a sms: "Te felicit pt ca de azi esti oficial membru al echipei de Incoming Exchange. Fi pregatit pentru o adevarata aventura. Din partea ICX, Dutzu."

Why it took me so long to write about this? I'm not sure exactly...i could imply several reasons (a.k.a false objectives :P) such as lack of time, ideas and so on...yet what determined me to write today...to start sharing today a tiny bit of my happy moments was determined actually by a presentation from a beer company who promoted the idea of drinking for pleasure, not to abuse. don't let your imagination run wild, you will understand this paragraph better as you keep reading

The presentation also implied a debate at one point regarding abuse of technology, alcohol, drugs and so on...any kind actually...and though i find myself in none, i related a lot to something else that wasn't mentioned: friends. Can a person actually be addicted to friends? I don't consider myself one, but I'm sure there would be a thin line there...

So, how i got into AIESEC?....well....the reason above would explain the whole philosophy...i wanted to meet more people, socialize, make friends, escape the routine of home-school-(internet)-home...it's actually a sad reason as AIESEC is so much more than just a friendly environment of young students and Gosh....was i about to find out how much more...

But you will convince yourself of that in the following posts :)...soon to come:P....
